Go Practice Music — Practice smarter, not longer – A Guest Post

July 13, 2026 by natalie Leave a Comment

A note from Natalie: With so many piano apps on the market (and more being added all the time!) it is often overwhelming to navigate all the options. What appealed to me about Go Practice Music (click here to use my referral link) when Sebastien reached out to me about it is the sleek interface and incredibly simple process of getting started right away with either various exercises or practicing at the piano. The clean design is intuitive and you can easily navigate to any of the four main sections: Rhythm, Read Notes, Practice, and Progress. I’m very impressed!

By a concert pianist, for every musician.

Go Practice Music is a practice companion built by Swiss concert pianist and teacher Sébastien Dupuis, who wanted his students to bring the same focus to the practice room that they bring to the stage. The result is one app that quietly replaces the metronome, the stopwatch, the notebook, and the recorder on your piano.

At its heart is the Practice Hub: build your repertoire (composer names autocomplete as you type), time every session with a stopwatch or goal timer, keep a daily streak going, and look back on a complete history of every piece — even deleted ones can be brought back. Record a take with one tap, then trim it and add concert-hall reverb right in the app.

The training rooms are where it gets addictive. Rhythm Practice offers 18 progressive levels in every time signature, marking each beat you tap with a check or a cross so you know exactly what to repeat. Read Note trains sight-reading with learning drills, random notes, key signatures, and ear training. A progress dashboard, awards, and a global league board keep you honest — and competitive.

Available in nine languages on iOS and Android, free to download. Learn more at gopractice.app
