Music of the Meadow

Music of the Meadow is a Little Einsteins book that appears to have several different versions all published under the same ISBN. It’s not entirely surprising because, while the premise of the book has merit, the odd illustration style – a mixture of flat computer graphics with photographs – detracts significantly from the story. The story itself also doesn’t flow particularly well, with a group of musical kids taking off in a rocket, but then landing in a meadow to explore the sounds of the various creatures they find. The rocket continues to hover nearby and is given an anthropomorphic role when it assists in putting a fallen baby bird back in its nest.
