Piano Camp Day Five – To London with Handel and His Messiah

June 10, 2022 by natalie Leave a Comment

Read to the bottom for a special coupon code for any piano camp curriculum packages!

“I love this game! It’s my favorite!” is the exclamation I heard at the end of our fast-paced Eggspert challenge. It’s truly impressive how much the students can learn and remember in one week!

The full-color student workbooks are so handy to use for each of the activities, and it’s a great memento for the students to take home at the end of our piano camp week.

All week long the students have been asking, “Are we doing water balloons today?” Well finally today the answer was, “yes!” It probably wasn’t my most brilliant move to plan this for our game on the final day right before heading back into the studio for our parent program…

A group shot of all the students this week (plus my fabulous assistant, Stephanie, and myself) with their silly faces on. I sure do love these kiddos!

We concluded the week with a program for the parents, featuring our song from Psalms and the London Bridge Circle Dance that we learned.

In celebration of a fabulous week of piano camp, from now through the end of the month you can get 20% off any (or all!) of the piano camp curriculum packages that are available in the Music Matters Blog store. Whether you’re looking for a fun Piano Expeditions pre-piano camp to offer to kids in your community who may or may not be enrolled in piano lessons, or a Carnival of the Animals-themed adventure for current students of all levels, or an intense week for middle and high school students to help them Kick-It-Up-A-Notch, these summer sessions are sure to become some of the favorite weeks of the year in your studio! Just use this code to apply your 20% off when you checkout: PianoCampFun
