Free Giveaway of Huge Bundle of Music Theory Flashcards

February 20, 2021 by natalie 12 Comments

As part of our practice incentive theme this year, I finally completed a project I’ve had in mind for years: a huge bundle of music theory flashcards (883 so far!) that goes beyond any set of music flashcards I’ve seen before. I wanted a way to help my students quickly and effectively drill not only notes, but notes with sharps and flats, all kinds of triads in both root position and inversions, intervals – both distance and quality, and the more typical flashcard inclusion of key signatures. It has been incredible to see how my students have grown in their knowledge and application of these music theory concepts with the help of the flashcards this year!

This bundle includes two versions of each set – one that’s printable and one that is enlarged and useful for online music lessons. In preparation for the year, I printed several sets of the printable sized flashcards, but I discovered that I really only needed one that we could share among the students since I have such a small studio right now. So I decided that rather than trashing the extra set that I’ve already printed, I would offer one complete printed set of music flashcards as a free giveaway along with the digital download to one Music Matters Blog reader. If you’d like to be entered in the drawing, just leave a comment below and I’ll choose one winner using a random number generator on Friday, February 26, at noon (CST).

Here’s a pic of what they look like once printed and organized (using a silverware drawer organizer from Target!):
