Business Resources for Music Teachers

February 8, 2021 by natalie 2 Comments

Those of you who are MTNA members have probably already seen this, but for those of you who aren’t, you will definitely want to check out the new Business Resources section that MTNA has added to their website!

As you can see, they’ve included everything from studio policies and technology support to business planning to marketing to copyright issues, and so much more. I’m not sure how much is accessible to non-members, but the linked resources include articles and videos with insightful and practical information. For example, this studio marketing article by Karen Thickstun outlines 52 ways that you can successfully brand your studio – highly practical ideas! I’ve barely scratched the surface so far, but I’m looking forward to heading back here often for inspiration and ideas, especially when it comes to the business side of running a piano studio!
