Free Online Rhythm Training Tools

September 25, 2020 by natalie 1 Comment

I recently came across a new website that offers a variety of free rhythm training tools developed by a pianist (Matt) for beginning music students.

It works on desktops and mobile devices and includes quite the collection of different kinds of training tools – some better than others. I like that it is very simple to use and doesn’t require a Flash player or any other special programs. Be sure to click the Setup box within each exercise/game to select the rhythm patterns you want to include. A perfect non-distracting way for students to work on rhythm training – both aurally and visually. This could easily be included as part of a student music or piano technology lab and/or utilized as a rhythm station during a group class. Or you can pass it along to your students as a fun and educational way to spend time on their mobile devices!

Hi, I am a student and I am passionate about piano lessons, I follow this blog for 4 hours and it helped me a lot, easy and relaxing. I’m proud of my evolution. Also I used Pianoforall to master the piano and I was pleased.
