Have you seen this amazing little construction?
A piano teacher in Wisconsin, along with her fiancé, designed the Ideal Piano Footrest and are in pre-production. Before they mass produce them, they are giving away 10 of them via a drawing on their website in order to solicit feedback and tweak the design. I just submitted my entry and wanted to share it with you all as well. I would love to have one of these beautiful footrests in my studio for young students, and I know it would be a welcome addition to any piano studio. If you win and get to try one out, you’ll have to let me know what you think!

Would love to have the footrest! It is cute, musical and will keep little feet off the bottom panel of the piano. Seems like a winner all the way around.

I love the look of this! I’ve tried many things for my smaller students and the most useful so far has been a large yoga bolster. (I know that sounds odd, but it won’t tip over and is sturdy enough that the children’s feet don’t sink into it.). But one of these footrests would be more practical and much more cute! Thanks for letting us know about it, Natalie!

I agree, Linda! Be sure to enter the drawing on the Ideal Piano Footrest website!

You’re welcome, Deborah! Just looked up Yoga Bolsters – that’s a creative solution, too!

What a blessing. Would certainly like to have one for our younger students. They would love having their feet on the footstool. Exceptional idea.

I would love to have one of these footrests in my studio. Several young children are part of my large group of students. It would be so comfortable for them to rest their feet instead of leaving them to hang for their entire lessons.

I agree, Andrew! Such a fun design!

Same here, Margaret. I think this beats trying to scrounge up some other kind of footrest for the little ones!

I’ll definitely try to get this Piano Footrest for my child at home. It’s so cute musical footrest. Thanks for sharing it, Natalie!
