August 31, 2015 by natalie 21 Comments

If you are looking for a fun, simple to implement, practice incentive theme for your studio that emphasizes character and competence then you’ve come to the right place!

C2: Igniting the Power Within! is the theme we used in our studio last year and I have all of our studio decor, plus a handful of extra student worksheets that I am giving away to one special Music Matters Blog reader! Just leave a comment below to be entered in the drawing to win this package of materials for your studio! I’ll draw a random number winner at noon (CST) this Friday, September 4.

As a new blogger, I find this fascinating. I try to decorate my studio each year with a new theme and C2: Igniting the Power Within, looks like what I could use for this year’s theme. Thank you for the opportunity to view this.

Wow – I think this would be a great incentive – working on character along with music skills – what a winner!

When I get back into teaching this fall, after a very traumatic summer, I want to approach my students in a different way. Before I have given points (up to 3 for each good lesson) and when they get to 100 points, they earn a trophy. This system has gone flat (mostly on my part) over the last few years. C2 Practice looks like it’s just what I need to give my students and myself a kickstart. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Like the idea of not only teaching musical concepts, but teaching the students about God’s desires for our lives. Exceptional idea. Thanks for offering to someone.
