Coming Soon – Carnival of the Animals: A Classical Christian Music Camp!

June 14, 2015 by natalie 2 Comments

I was so inspired by the Classical Conversations Parent Practicum that I attended last week that I’ve been working on developing our studio music camp program this year using a Classical Christian education model!

It’s been a ton of fun using the Topic Wheel to generate ideas and put together what I think will be the best music camp program yet! I’ll keep you posted as plans develop!

I’m planning to do a Fall Recital with “Carnival of the Animals” as the theme, so I’m very eager to see what you have put together on this. Because Labor Day is so late this year (and I always start lessons after Labor Day) I thought I might do a “camp” or group lesson event the first week in Sept.
Please keep me posted on your plans!

    Hi Natalie,
Have you guys thought about or taken a look at Feathertop Chalet as a music camp venue? We have heaps of great indoor spaces that muso’s can use as private rehearsal or practice areas, our neighbours (mostly distant) love the noise we make, our accommodation is fantastic with en-suited rooms where up to seven people can share a room, private rooms for teachers and helpers; great food and plenty of ‘break’ activities for people to get the blood flowing in between sets.
Feel free to give us a call for a chat if and when you are looking for somewhere exciting.
