If you’re not familiar with the MusicLink Foundation, you should check it out! It’s a great opportunitiy for music teachers all across the country to invest in the life of a promising music student who would otherwise be unable to participate in private music lessons. MusicLink partners with Independent Music Teachers and School Music Teachers to provide lessons, instruments, books and opportunities for these students.
According to their website “The MusicLink® Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides long-term musical training and opportunities to promising students in financial need across the country. Nominated students who meet MusicLink eligibility criteria are linked with professional music teachers who provide ongoing partial to full scholarship lessons for as long as the child wishes to learn.”
