Anytune App

March 27, 2023 by natalie 2 Comments

At a recent Dennis Alexander workshop sponsored by our local music teachers association, Dennis mentioned that Anytune app. Maybe I’ve been living under a rock when it comes to new apps, but I had never heard of this one, and boy, have I been missing out!

Anytune is a free app that enables you to open mp3 files and easily adjust the tempo or transpose it to another key. This will be a fabulous tool for students to utilize because they can download mp3 files for many of the piano songs they are learning, especially ones that include accompaniment tracks, and then adjust the tempo for practice purposes. I’m going to start recommending this to students and their parents right along with a metronome app as a necessity when they start piano lessons!

    Hi Natalie,

Thanks for the shout-out for Anytune. We are glad you found Anytune and it has proven useful. Anytune has been on Apple for over a decade. We advertise mostly by word of mouth and appreciate you sharing. Anytune is now available in Google Play, and you can slow down Spotify and Apple Music songs with Anytune on Android.

The free version of Anytune has lots of great features to help you on your musical journey. The Pro (paid) version has lots more features I am sure you would love. Isolate or mute instruments or vocals with ReFrame, use the Loop Trainer or even slow down a section of a song.

We love helping musicians on their journey and have a special program for teachers > https://www.anytune.app/teachers/

Thank you so much, Tony! I’m going to post those codes separately. I really appreciate your comment and support of music teachers!
