When my sister got married years ago she really wanted to use the main title theme by Rachel Portman from the movie Emma (the 1996 version with Gwyneth Paltrow) for her processional. Since we couldn’t find any arrangements at the time, I agreed to write one for her.
Thanks to the ArrangeMe platform, I was able to upload the arrangement and make it available for other pianists at Sheet Music Plus and Sheet Music Direct. And now there is also a video recording available so you can watch and listen to it and see if it’s an arrangement you’re interested in.
Apparently October is the new June as far as weddings go, so it may be just the right fit for a shorter wedding processional that opens with a sweet, delicate theme and then climaxes for a grand bridal entry. It is written for solo piano and/or solo C instrument with piano accompaniment. Enjoy!
