Have you ever searched in vain for a specific set of flashcards to help students learn and master chord names or become better adept at finding sharp and flat keys on the piano? I’ve done lots of hand scribbling of flashcards over the years to fill the gap, but I finally decided it was time to create some official flashcards for everything I want my students to be able to quickly recognize at sight and correlate to the piano. It was a bigger undertaking than I realized it would be! The result? A brand new Monster Collection of 871 Music Flashcards!
Whew!
I’m especially excited about how we’ll be incorporating these into our practice incentive theme for this year, but I also wanted to make them available separately because I know that many of you are in the same boat as me when it comes to finding just what you need flashcard-wise to help your students.
This huge collection of music flashcards is organized into 29 different sets in 4 categories (notes, intervals, triads, and key signatures). And each set contains two versions – a digital set that can be viewed on any mobile device that displays pdf files (perfect for virtual/online lessons!) and a printable set that contains 16 flashcards per page that can be cut and either folded to retain the answer with the flashcard or cut apart of utilize for games like “Memory” where you don’t want the answer connected to the card. I tried to consider as many variables as possible so that they would be useful in many different settings!
To celebrate the completion of this long project, you can use a special discount code to get $5 off your own Monster Collection of Music Flashcards! Just enter the code FLASHFUN when you checkout!

Do you have any that include keyboard note identification for beginners?

Michelle,
Great question! Nope, I actually didn’t end up including any keyboard ones in this collection – an oversight on my part. I may see about creating some and then making them available soon!

That would be great, Natalie!
