If you’re a member of MTNA, you probably just received this information, too. TheLessonRoom.com is a new website that describes itself as “the hub for music education resources and valuable content” – among other things. Quite a bodacious statement for a new website, but I look forward to seeing what resources and valuable content they contribute to the music education community. We can never have too much, I think!
There were a few glitches in the registration process, but I was eventually able to complete the rather lengthy teacher registration so that my profile could be listed on the site. Even though my studio is full, I think it’s valuable to continue to pursue various avenues (free ones, that is!) of getting and keeping my name and studio visible to the public eye. From the marketing research I’ve done, this seems to be a critical component of any effective business marketing strategy.
