		<description>I&#039;m enjoying this tremendously!  I had that thought about the different learning styles, so I appreciate that you brought it out so clearly.  Thus, visual learners NEED to have the fingerings written out for them, whereas the others probably don&#039;t.  Any guesses as to my learning style? (-;  I love your dialogue for how you explain the fingering...and then there&#039;s fingering rule and the exceptions...(-:</description>

Some of my students have benefited enormously from using Susan Paradis&#039; picture scales in her &quot;Teaching Aids&quot; section of her website.  I find this especially helpful when children are transitioning from playing 1-octave scales to playing 2-octave scales, as they can see a picture when practising at home rather than refer to something that looks like a code  ie.me writing the fingering in their notebook!  (next step: to wean them off the pictures LOL ask me in a month&#039;s tme!</description>
